Padangbai is a village in Manggis District, Karangasem Regency, on the east side of Bali Island, Indonesia. The city is a ferry port for shipping to Lombok, Nusa Penida, Gili Islands and other islands in West Nusa Tenggara.
In addition to being a port city, this city also offers tourists with the life of a beautiful and quiet small coastal city in the form of a bay where to the east there is a promontory called the sari head which is named after a sacred shrine worshiping Empu Bharadah temple named Pura Tanjung Sari. In addition to the main white sandy beach, here are also 2 other white sandy beaches namely Padang Kurungan beach on the east and Bias Tugel beach on the west. Padang Kurungan Beach is a beautiful beach which is famous for its underwater beauty which is dominated by colorful ornamental fish and soft corals and the existence of a blue lagoon in the middle of its beautiful beaches so this beach is often also called the blue lagoon beach. Whereas Bias Tugel beach (White Sand Beach) which is located west of the main beach of Padangbai, is famous for its beauty because of its wide white sand and its clear blue sea.
